From Belgium to Germany and Back, Capleton Embarks on a Musical Odyssey
Jamaican reggae and dancehall legend Capleton, also known as King Shango and King David, has announced an extensive European tour for Fall 2023. The tour, aptly titled "The Prophecy," will kick off on October 15th and span two months, with performances scheduled in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and more.
For the first seven consecutive nights of the tour, Capleton and his Prophecy band will perform in Belgium, including stops in Brussels, Antwerp, and Ghent. They will then move on to Utrecht, Netherlands, for two sold-out shows, before embarking on a leg of the tour in Germany that will take them to Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich.
Once known as a "rude boy" before embracing Rastafarianism, Capleton has established himself as a vocal advocate for the Rastafarian faith and its teachings. His music is renowned for its militant yet melodious style, and his lyrics often explore themes of redemption, spirituality, and social justice.
